How our fits run
- Shirred and smocked bodices stretch to fit a range within each size — if you are between sizes in these styles, the smaller size usually works.
- Bodycon and fitted styles follow the body closely. If you prefer ease over cling, take the larger of your two sizes.
- Strapless styles rely on a snug bodice to stay put — choose your true size rather than sizing up.
- Relaxed and tiered shapes are cut generously by design; your usual size will give the intended silhouette.
Between sizes?
Fabric decides. Stretch-heavy pieces (shirred, elasticised, knit) forgive downward; structured pieces (tweed, satin-finish, lined bodices) forgive upward. Each product description names these construction details so you can judge before you order.
